Privacy Policy
Lists you paste into Randomize List are not uploaded. Draws run in your browser, the last ten draws stay in your browser’s local storage until you clear them, and a share link keeps the list after the # sign, which browsers do not send to servers. Anyone who has a link can still read the list in it.
Lists and results
Everything you paste or open as a file is read and shuffled by the page in your browser. It is not sent to a server, and the site has no database to keep it in.
Share links
A share link holds the list, the settings and the seed after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part of an address to the server they request the page from, and do not pass it on to other sites. The link itself is readable by anyone who has it, and messengers or email services that receive it may store it like any other message.
Stored on your device
The last ten draws (list, settings, seed and time) are saved in your browser’s local storage, so you can reopen them under “Recent draws on this device”. Clear history deletes them; clearing the site’s data in your browser does too. Whether the draw animation is on is stored the same way. Nothing else is stored, and no cookies are set.
Analytics and ads
The site currently uses no analytics and shows no ads. If either is added, this page will say which service is used and what it receives before it is switched on.
Hosting
Pages are served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it receives the technical details of each page request, such as the IP address and the browser’s user agent; the part of a link after # is not among them. Cloudflare also asks browsers for Network Error Logging: if a page fails to load because of a network error, your browser may send Cloudflare a short report about the failed request, such as the address, the type of error and its timing.
